So the first week is pretty much over, and I am finally in holiday mode. So far, I have slept a lot, done no homework, and not a lot else.

I forgot how much I love not doing anything. Sigh. But seriously, holidays have been great so far. I feel vaguely guilty for not studying madly like I should be (remember, it's not a holiday, it's a study break), but the feeling is easy enough to repress, particularly with all the chocolate I now have access to since getting home from my Dad's about an hour ago. Milk chocolate Lindt balls are the way to my heart.. yummmm.

Things have been interesting lately... there is much to think about. I've found myself pondering the future quite a bit, and I've made quite an extensive 'To Do Before I Die' list.
Haha... it's funny what you think of to avoid doing work. At the moment, I am eating chocolate and watching old House episodes (as the current season has ended!! -_-). I should be careful -- anymore, and I won't fit into my dress!! Oh, yes, I forgot to mention, I bought a formal dress!! It's SO pretty. It's green, strapless and satin, and a size 8 - so I can't gain any weight! It seriously takes ten minutes to do up the back. Haha, oh but it's worth it, it's awesome. I was trying to find a picture that looked like it, but no luck. Oh well!!

What have I been up to, though? It's all a bit of a pleasant blur, really, but I'll try to remember
I've worked a little, but used my incredible negotiating skills to avoid picking up extra shifts (except for yesterday - ELEVEN HOURS!). I am quite ridiculously broke, after spending $250 on said dress (I know, I know... but it's so pretty!!), so I probably should have worked more... oh well. I still want to go shopping though, I love winter clothes =]
What else? Hmmm shopping for dresses, which was quite successful. Saw Step Up 2, which I had absolutely no interest in, but which actually turned out to be rather good. The guy was cute, anyway. Oh I have a yucky cold, which is always fun. This week I really need to get into the study mode, starting first thing tomorrow!!

I am worried about my friend K, she has to have surgery next week =[
Hopefully I will be able to visit her on Wednesday, or Thursday before work. It sucks, cause she can't even go to formal now, and will be in hospital instead =[ =[ =[
Life is crap like that.

I really can't think of anything else interesting to say... I've decided to brush up a little on my lamentable Italian skills, purely so I can show off in restaurants by translating the menu. My ego could do with some stroking!
Mmm I'm going to go watch some more House episodes.
